Privacy Policy

How Lionsgate Leads handles information submitted through this website and used to operate our roofing lead generation services.

Important notice. This policy is provided for transparency and general information. It is not legal advice and does not guarantee compliance with any privacy law. It should be reviewed and adapted by qualified British Columbia privacy counsel before final publication.

1. About this policy

Lionsgate Leads operates from British Columbia, Canada and provides roofing lead generation and lead services to contractors in Canada and the United States. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and how it is used, shared, retained and protected.

2. Information you submit directly

When you complete a form on this website, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, company name, email address, phone number, state or province, your monthly lead-volume preference, and any message you write. You choose what to include; please do not submit sensitive personal information through our forms.

3. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we collect basic technical and usage information such as pages viewed, referring source, approximate region, device type and browser. This is used in aggregate to understand site performance and improve content. Cookies or similar technologies may be used by our website hosting and analytics tools for these purposes. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some site features may be affected.

4. Homeowner information

Where homeowners submit enquiries through campaigns we operate for contractor partners, that information is collected to qualify the enquiry and arrange an lead with the contractor serving that area. It is shared with the contractor who will contact the homeowner, and is handled by us and our service providers for those purposes.

5. How we use information

We use information to respond to your enquiry, assess territory availability, provide and improve our services, qualify leads and arrange leads, communicate with you about your enquiry or account, maintain security and prevent misuse, produce aggregate analytics, and meet legal or accounting obligations.

6. Communications

If you contact us, we may reply by email, phone or text about your enquiry. Where we send marketing communications, we do so in line with applicable rules including Canada’s anti-spam legislation, and every marketing message includes a way to unsubscribe.

7. Service providers and sharing

We do not sell your information. However, we use third-party service providers to operate the business, and those providers process information on our behalf. These typically include website hosting and infrastructure, database and form processing, email delivery, analytics and, where used, advertising and scheduling platforms. Providers are given only the information needed to perform their function. Homeowner enquiry details are also shared with the contractor partner who will service the lead.

8. Legal disclosures

We may disclose information where required by law, court order or lawful request by a public authority, or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or to protect the rights, safety or property of Lionsgate Leads, our partners or the public.

9. Cross-border processing

Because we operate in Canada and serve contractors in Canada and the United States, information may be stored or processed in Canada, the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. Information stored in another country may be accessible to that country’s courts and authorities under its laws.

10. Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, to maintain business and accounting records, and to comply with legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymise it.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including access controls and encrypted transmission, to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Your privacy rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate information, or request deletion where deletion is available and we are not required to retain the information. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under Canadian federal or provincial privacy law, or under U.S. state privacy laws. Email ethan@lionsgateleads.com to make a request; we may need to verify your identity before responding.

13. Consent and withdrawal of consent

By submitting a form, you consent to the collection and use of that information for the purposes described here. Where consent is the basis for processing, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us, subject to legal or contractual restrictions. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide certain services.

14. Children’s privacy

This website and our services are directed to businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

15. Third-party websites

Our website may link to third-party sites we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to review their policies.

16. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The version published on this page is the current one, and continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance.
